Ali Moosavi

Ali Moosavi is an Automotive Design Consultant at Gravity Sketch since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Lead Designer at HopTera, where they led the design and development of an Ultralight eVTOL aircraft concept, adhering to Part 103 (FAA) due to the weight restriction. From 2019-2022, they were the Dodge Exterior Designer at Stellantis, where they designed and developed numerous exterior proposals to progress the aesthetics for next generation muscle cars. From 2016-2019, they were the Advanced Creative Designer at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, where they created a diverse body of 2D design work and collaborated closely with CDD, clay modelers and engineers to adjust aesthetics. In 2016, they were an Exterior Design Intern at FCA - North America, where they created a variety of themes for different ongoing production projects. In 2015, they were part of an Academy of Art University Sponsored Class at Nissan Motor Corporation, where they worked closely with the Nissan Team and teammates to design and develop a future mobility concept. In 2015, they were an Exterior Design Intern at Ford Motor Company, where they developed 2D sketches while under management. In 2014, they were a Product Designer at Gate Labs Inc., where they created initial concepts that led to a successful product launch. Lastly, in 2014, they were part of an Academy of Art Corporate Sponsored Class at FCA - North America, where they designed and developed exterior aesthetics with the direction of the Chrysler team and design brief.

Ali Moosavi obtained a Motorcycle Safe Foundation Certificate from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation in July 2011. Ali then attended the Academy of Art University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Industrial and Transportation Design.
