James Crain has had a varied and extensive career in software development. James began their career in 2005 as the Lead Application Developer & IT Analyst at Credit Control, LLC, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the business logic used to run the company's primary business application. In 2007, they moved to Mitek as a Software Engineer, where they worked within a small User Experience Group using WPF, C#, and XAML to create multiple User Interfaces for an n-tier Enterprise Level Business Management Application. In 2011, they became a Web Developer at SBS Creatix, where they were primarily responsible for Front-End Design and Development, and assisted in the overall creation of three new applications. In 2013, they joined ArchitectNow as the Principal Designer, and in 2015, they became the Owner, Designer & Developer at Crain Design Group. In 2018, they founded GrabMe Delivery, a social delivery platform made for working moms and local businesses, which was acquired in 2019. James is currently the Lead Mobile Engineer at Gravy.
James Crain obtained a BS in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Information Systems from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. Prior to this, they attended Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2000.
