Pedro Belo

Pedro Belo has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Developer at Bitscribe, Inc. from October 2007 to June 2008. Pedro worked as a Ruby consultant for various businesses, integrating apps with Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce, and other platforms.

From July 2008 to October 2015, Pedro joined Heroku as a Principal Member of Technical Staff. Pedro played a significant role in the early projects of the company, such as designing and implementing the add-ons marketplace and delivering the Beech stack. Later on, they founded and managed the API team, leading projects like the Facebook integration, OAuth support, and two-factor authentication. Pedro also contributed to internal accomplishments by refactoring complex monolithic apps into smaller distributed components.

In November 2015, Pedro became the CTO at Lugg, where they served until April 2019.

In January 2019, Pedro joined GRAX as a Software Architect, and shortly after, in April 2019, they became self-employed as the Chief Pizza Officer.

Pedro Belo pursued their education at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
