Brian Hafendorfer

Brian Hafendorfer, PE is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Mechanical Engineering at Gray AES since January 2024. Brian leads Mechanical and Refrigeration Engineering teams through the design and construction phases of design-build projects, focusing on efficient, cost-effective solutions in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams. Previously, Brian held the position of Director of Architectural Services at Gray from January 2020 to January 2024, where management of a multidisciplinary design studio ensured timely project delivery. With extensive experience at Trane from 2000 to 2020, Brian developed innovative product designs and optimized system performance as a Principal Systems Development & Applications Engineer. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
