Hypersonic CFD Mod & Sim SME Engineer at Gray Analytics

Bojana Nikolic has an extensive work experience in the field of hypersonics and aerospace engineering. Bojana'smost recent role is as a Hypersonic CFD Mod & Sim SME Engineer at Gray Analytics, where they serve in an advisory role to DoD agencies for evaluating and assessing the progress on hypersonic programs of national importance.

Prior to that, they worked at Teledyne Brown Engineering as a Chief Scientist on the Hot Air Tunnel (HAT) Program, where they were responsible for designing and developing a clean air long duration hypersonic wind tunnel.

Bojana also served as a Chief Engineer on the HAT Program at Teledyne Brown Engineering, Missions Hypersonics Directorate. In this role, they provided technical guidance, oversaw work of the team, and organized technical reviews.

Before joining Teledyne Brown Engineering, Bojana worked at Raytheon Missile Systems as a Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer, where they supported heat transfer numerical modeling and analysis for the design and development of hypersonic vehicles.

Bojana also has experience at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where they served as a Sr. Staff Propulsion Engineer, providing guidance for engine/airframe integration and testing.

Bojana began their career at MSE-TA, Inc as a Staff Aerospace Engineer, where they were involved in the development of hypersonic wind tunnel and performed CFD analyses and optimization studies.

Bojana has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Montana Tech of the University of Montana, where they developed and taught courses on aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics.

Bojana started their career at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, performing thermal and chemical analyses of rocket engines.

Overall, Bojana Nikolic has a diverse range of experience in hypersonics, aerospace engineering, and academic teaching.

Bojana Nikolic has an extensive education background in the field of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. From 1992 to 1998, they attended Arizona State University, where they earned their Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Prior to their time in the United States, Bojana studied at the Mechanical Faculty of the University of Belgrade from 1983 to 1988. There, they completed their Dipl. Ing. degree with a specialization in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
