Carmen is an Operations Associate at Grayhawk. She brings over five years of experience working in various asset classes, including fixed-income, private equity, and pooled funds. Passionate about innovation, Carmen is constantly seeking new and creative ways of solving complex problems to generate value and deliver high-quality services to clients. Deeply inspired by Grayhawk’s mission, she joined the operations team committed to helping families grow and protect their legacy.

She started her career as an Investment Analyst at a leading brokerage firm in the Dominican Republic, serving institutions and high-net-worth clients. She later became the Sub Manager of Operations, where she helped lead an organizational restructuring designed to improve the firm’s operational efficiency and increase productivity.

Carmen moved to Boston in 2016 to pursue a dual master’s degree in International Business & Finance and graduated with honors. Upon graduation, she joined a lead US financial services firm as a Fund Accountant and was responsible for managing operations and financial accounting for some of the world’s largest asset management firms. She was recognized for implementing new programs that improved monthly and quarterly reconciliation procedures.

Prior to joining Grayhawk, Carmen worked as an Investment Operations Analyst for a Canadian investment management firm that focuses on delivering disruptive innovation technology investment strategies. In this role, she managed the daily operations of six actively managed exchange-traded funds.
