Barbar Douaihy has extensive experience in warehousing, logistics, and distribution management. Barbar started their career at Milanor Trading Company as a Stock and Program Manager. Barbar then worked at Al Massar Transit and Insurance Company as an Account Manager, where they managed a team of 6 and was responsible for the company's annual budget. Barbar later joined ADMIC Sal as a Warehouse Manager, overseeing merchandise distribution to multiple branches and managing a stock of 7000 SKU of supermarket items. Barbar also held the position of Responsible of Control Merchandise at the Warehouse, where they supervised inbound and outbound merchandise.
Afterward, Douaihy worked at The Sultan Center as a Warehouse and Distribution Manager, responsible for day-to-day warehouse functions, traffic, transportation, and quality assurance. As Country Logistics Manager, they managed all logistics activities within the country, including inbound traffic, warehousing, and outbound delivery. Barbar set up and managed the budget for the logistics function and ensured compliance with corporate standards.
Later, Douaihy joined Daher Foods as a National Logistics and Distribution Manager, where they organized the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. Barbar also served as Central Warehouse Manager, directly handling receiving and warehousing operations while overseeing all warehouse processes.
Most recently, Douaihy held the position of Head of Warehousing and Logistics at Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon.
Barbar Douaihy began their education in 1992, attending the Institut des Soeurs Antonines. Barbar completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Programming from this institution in 1994. Continuing their studies in the field of IT, Barbar Douaihy pursued a degree in IT Management, earning a Technique Superieur qualification from the same institute from 1995 to 1997.

Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon S.A.L was established in 1996, as a pacesetter in the ownership and operation of supermarkets and hypermarkets in Lebanon. Gray Mackenzie Retail Lebanon (GMRL) owns Spinneys, the leading multinational supermarket chain which made its comeback in 1996, 23 years after shutting down its operations due to the civil war. GMRL now operates 16 Spinneys branches. In 2014, GMRL introduced the Happy Discount Store, an innovative retail concept, which has today grown into a popular discount store brand, with 5 branches. GMRL acquired the Grab’nGo Convenience Stores in 2018, and presently operates 11 branches of the local convenience store chain. The latest addition to the company’s portfolio has been the Signature by Spinneys concept, launched in 2019.
