Tristan Crockett

Tristan Crockett has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Tristan is currently working at Gray Matter Analytics as a Lead Software Engineer - Application since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Full Stack Engineer at the same company starting from June 2019.

Before joining Gray Matter Analytics, Tristan worked as a Software Engineer at the Center for Data Science and Public Policy @ University of Chicago from August 2016 to June 2019.

From May 2015 to August 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at ThinkCERCA. During this time, they extended the Ember.js-based lesson library, implemented a Ruby-based auto-summarizer, and participated in large-scale data model refactorings.

Tristan gained experience as a Software Engineer at Edgeflip from January 2014 to May 2015 and at Bankrate, Inc. from July 2013 to December 2013.

Prior to that, they worked at LeadKarma LLC as a Software Engineer from May 2012 to July 2013 and as a Jr. Software Engineer from January 2011 to May 2012.

Tristan's earliest work experience includes roles as a Web Developer (Mind Project) and a Teaching Assistant/Program Debugger at Illinois State University from December 2006 to July 2012.

Additionally, they worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Motorola from September 2009 to July 2010.

Tristan Crockett completed their education in the field of computer science. Tristan started their academic journey at Elgin Community College from 2004 to 2006, where they focused on computer science and music. After that, they pursued their bachelor's degree in computer science at Illinois State University from 2006 to 2009, achieving a BS degree.
