Brett McCoy

Brett McCoy, CPCU, serves as the Assistant Vice President at Gray Surplus Lines Insurance Company since September 2023. Prior to this role, Brett held various positions at Tokio Marine HCC from June 2014 to September 2023, including Underwriting and Operations Director and Senior Casualty Analyst. Brett also worked at Markel Corporation as a Product Development Specialist and at Century Insurance Group as an Underwriting Process Business Analyst and Underwriting Assistant. Early career experience includes the role of Transportation Coordinator at Iron Mountain from 1999 to 2005, with additional responsibilities in safety and security oversight. Brett holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Columbus State Community College and has pursued further education through the American Institute of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters and the International Risk Management Institute. Notable achievements include developing a program for Petroleum Product Distributors Excess Liability, generating $2.5 million in premium within its first seven months.
