Architectural Design Manager - food & Beverage Operations at Gray

Antonio Plascencia has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Most recently, they worked at Gray as an Architectural Design Manager in the Food & Beverage Operations division. Prior to that, they were a Senior Architectural Designer at Stellar, also specializing in Food & Beverage Operations.

Before transitioning into the architectural field, Antonio spent several years at Hansen-Rice, Inc., where they served as a Sr. Industrial Designer and BIM 360 manager. In this role, they were responsible for designing and optimizing refrigerated food processing facilities, ensuring ADA compliance, and enhancing energy efficiency.

Antonio's previous experience includes working at CSHQA as a Senior Architectural Designer, where they created detailed construction drawings using Revit 2016 and collaborated with various professionals. Antonio also worked as a Manager at Schafer Corporation, overseeing non-manufacturing operations in a high-tech startup company.

Earlier in their career, Antonio held positions at Elks Rehab System as a Specialist and Case Manager, where they provided financial advocacy and strategic planning for patients receiving rehabilitation services. Antonio also served as a Loan Executive at United Way of Treasure Valley, promoting the organization's initiatives through public speaking and project management.

Additionally, Antonio was involved with the USGBC Idaho Chapter as an Emerging Professional Committee Liaison and worked as an Architectural Designer at LCA Architects, preparing technical drawings for construction plans. Antonio also interned at Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc., providing Spanish interpretation services for low-income migrant farm workers.

Throughout their career, Antonio has showcased their expertise in architectural design, project management, and leadership development. Antonio has proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Antonio Plascencia, MBA, obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Administration/Management from Northwest Nazarene University, which they attended from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business, Language & Culture, with a minor in Management Information Systems, from The College of Idaho between 2003 and 2006. Antonio also holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Drafting Technology from Boise State University, earned from 1995 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Antonio Plascencia has acquired several certifications. Antonio obtained the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Quality & Safety) certification from Procore Technologies in October 2021. In February 2019, they achieved multiple certifications, including Procore Certified: Architect, Procore Certified: Engineer, Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools), and Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management), all from Procore Technologies. Antonio also holds the In Patient Assister certification from Your Health Idaho, obtained in September 2013. Furthermore, they received the Notice of Clearance for State and National Medicare/Medicaid Provider Exclusion Lists certification from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare in July 2012.
