Samantha Ahlman

Samantha Ahlman is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in fire management and marine ecology. Currently serving as a Firefighter Type 1 Trainee at Grayback Forestry Inc since June 2023, Samantha has previously worked as a North Pacific Groundfish Observer at Saltwater Inc. and as a Firefighter Type 2 at Grayback Forestry Inc. In addition to fieldwork, Samantha contributed to academic research as a Graduate Assistant in Environmental and Ocean Sciences at the University of San Diego from August 2020 to June 2022. Samantha's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Environmental and Ocean Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts degree in the same field, with a focus on Marine Ecology, both obtained from the University of San Diego. Early career experience includes an apprenticeship as a carpenter at Ahlman Family Builders.
