Andrii Andrieiev has over 14 years of experience in the IT industry. In 2007, they began their career as a Technical Support Engineer at Telinta, Inc., where they supported resellers of a VoIP switch platform with solving their technical and billing issues. Andrii also administered instances of VoIP switch and billing software, as well as developed call-shop software in PHP and JavaScript. In 2012, they joined Lexmark as a Cloud Engineer, where they maintained an automated testing system based on Linux/Ruby/Watir-webdriver, automated day-to-day routines in a Rails-based video-encoding product, and wrote internal tools in Ruby/Rails/Sinatra. Andrii was later promoted to Cloud Architect and Cloud Engineering Team Lead, where they designed cloud architecture based on Docker and AWS ECS, planned and supervised software migrations to the cloud, and drove introduction of AWS and new automated CI/CD pipelines. In 2018, they became a DevOps Team Lead Consultant, where they led a distributed SRE team ensuring everyday operations of a cloud platform, recruited and couched SRE engineers, and designed and implemented orchestration and deployment pipelines (Docker, Packer, Terraform, Jenkins). In 2019, they joined PPRO as a DevOps Manager and Team Lead, where they headed teams of Platform, DevOps, and Network engineers developing a bleeding-edge infrastructure platform in a hybrid-cloud B2B environment, performed vendor management and procurement negotiations, and hired and couched the best engineering talent (Engineers and Team Leads). Most recently, they joined Graylog, Inc. in 2021 as Director of Cloud Services, where they developed a tailored process for recruiting Cloud Engineers with an external agency, rapidly scaled up the cloud engineering team (distributed over US, Canada, Germany, and France), and pre-planned, initiated, and supervised the execution of a massive rewrite of the cloud infrastructure platform (Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Kubernetes, Flux, and Argo Workflows) to improve its scalability and cost footprint.

Andrii Andrieiev completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Biomedical Engineering from East Ukrainian National between 2007 and 2008. Andrii then obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Devices from East Ukrainian National between 2003 and 2007. Before that, they completed their High School Diploma from Luhansk Military Lyceum between 2001 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in May 2021, Finance for Non-Financial Professionals from Coursera in May 2020, and Project Management: The Basics for Success from Coursera in May 2020.
