Jim Nitterauer

Jim Nitterauer has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a Scientist position at Lockheed EMSCO in 1985. Following that, they worked as a Microbiology Associate at Technical Resources and Avanti Corporation from 1989 to 1994. From 1993 to 1994, they were a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Arkansas. In 1998, they became President of Creative Data Concepts Limited, Inc., where they managed data center, Web hosting infrastructure and business processes. From 2006 to 2021, they held various roles at AppRiver, including Senior Security Engineer and Senior Security Specialist, where they managed data center, server, networking and security infrastructure. In 2021, they moved to OpenText as a Senior Security Engineer, and in 2022 they became Director of Information Security at Graylog, Inc.

Jim Nitterauer has an extensive educational background. Jim obtained a B.S. in Biology from Ursinus College from 1981 to 1985 and an M.S. in Microbiology from The University of Alabama from 1986 to 1989. In addition, Jim has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and ISACA, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) in 2019, CISSP in 2016, and CIPP/US Cert Prep: 1 U.S. Privacy Environment in 2020.
