Malay Kumar has extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as a Sr. Fellow at Onshape, a PTC Technology, since January 2014. In this role, Malay has progressed through various leadership positions, including Senior Director and Director of Software Development for Modeling and Graphics. Additionally, since January 2023, Malay has been a Technical Advisor for GrayMatter Robotics, contributing expertise in making AI-Brains for robots. Previous experience includes a tenure at Mathworks as a Physical Modeling Developer, where contributions were made to 3D visualization and CAD interoperability, and at Solidworks Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer. Academic qualifications include an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
