Kurt Niehaus

Kurt Niehaus is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in engineering and automation. Currently serving as Sales Director at GrayMatter since April 2024, Kurt previously held multiple roles at Applied Control Engineering, Inc., including Director of Sales and Manager of Sales, overseeing operations for seven regional locations. Kurt has also worked as a Senior Project Engineer, managing HMI and PLC programming projects. Prior to that, Kurt was the Automation Product Group Manager at United Electric Supply and served as an Application Engineer, supporting factory automation products. Earlier in their career, Kurt was a Project Engineer at Applied Control Engineering and a Sales Engineer at ifm Efector. Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, obtained in 2003.
