David Lavalle

David LaValle has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. David is currently the Global Head of ETFs at Grayscale Investments, a leading digital currency asset management investing company. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Alerian from 2019 to 2021. David also held the position of US Head of ETF Capital Markets at State Street Global Advisors from 2014 to 2019. Before that, they were the Head of Exchange Trade Product Marketplace at Nasdaq from 2011 to 2014. David's earlier roles include being a Floor Official at NYSE Euronext from 2008 to 2010 and an Exchange Official at the American Stock Exchange from 2005 to 2008. David also worked at Kellogg Group, LLC where they held various positions, including Managing Director, Director of Operations, and Senior Trader. David started their career as a Trader and Trading Assistant at LaBranche & Co. and Goin & Co. L.L.C. respectively.

David LaValle studied at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time there, they focused on Pre-Med and Theology, although the specific years of their education were not provided.
