Julian began their career at Blake Dawson, where they served as the National Business Development Manager from 2000 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, Julian held the position of CEO at Blake Dawson Technology Pty Ltd.

In 2012, Julian transitioned to GRC Solutions Pty Ltd, where they initially served as the CEO until 2013.
