John Webster

John Webster is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in the surety industry. Currently serving as Senior VP/CUO/Head of Contract Surety at Great American Insurance Group since January 2005, John has held various leadership roles within the company, including Divisional VP and Bond Director, overseeing operations across multiple regions. Previous positions include Bond Manager at Marsh and Willis, as well as Bond Manager for Reliance National's environmental contractors program at ECS, Inc. Additionally, John began a career in the industry as a Bond Underwriter at Safeco Insurance and worked as an Account Executive at Jefferson National Mortgage. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dickinson College, earned in 1987.
