Laura Cheng

Laura Cheng is a Senior Counsel at Great American Insurance Group, a position held since February 2018. Cheng has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Vermont Law and Graduate School, where instruction focused on the LLM Seminar course. A Summer Legal Intern at Southern Environmental Law Center in 2019, Cheng concentrated on climate change, transportation, the Endangered Species Act, and freedom of information issues. Previously, Cheng served as Associate General Counsel for Corporate Legal Affairs at Garretson Resolution Group and held attorney positions at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP and Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL. Early career experience includes law clerk roles at Graf Stiebel Moyers and Sanders & Associates LPA. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws in Environmental Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Xavier University.
