Richard Parkins

Richard Parkins is the current Business Development Director at Great Bear Distribution. Richard has over 25 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Parkins began their career in 1993 as a Logistics Manager at Geest. Richard then became a Safety Advisor for the company in 1996. In 2000, they left Geest to become an Operations Manager at Direct Wines. Richard held this position for eight years before moving to their current role at Great Bear Distribution.

Richard Parkins attended the University of Birmingham, where they earned a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering with Biochemical Engineering.

Richard Parkins reports to Alastair Isbister, CEO. Some of their coworkers include Dan O’Hare - Operations Director, Chris Price - CFO, and Justin Steadman - Regional Operations Director.
