Justin Scales

Justin Scales has over 17 years of work experience in the animation and illustration industry. Justin most recently worked as an Art Director at Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Illustrator at RECUR from May 2022 to December 2022. Justin also served as a Lead Artist at Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow from May 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Artist at Oooh from August 2019 to October 2020. Justin's earlier experience includes being a Senior Artist at Disney Interactive from August 2013 to December 2018. Justin also worked as an Instructor at Redhouse College of Animation from September 2010 to June 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Stop-motion Animator and Storyboard Artist at Wapos Bay Productions Inc. from September 2004 to 2011.

Justin Scales attended S.C.E.TCH College of art and design from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a 3-year diploma in Classical Animation.
