Linda Benson Royal has extensive experience in customer service and program management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Customer Service and Onboarding Specialist at the Great Books Foundation since November 2022, Linda supports a diverse clientele, driving product enhancements through customer feedback. Previously, Linda held the position of Senior Digital Account Coordinator at Vivial from May 2013 to May 2022, where responsibilities included fostering client relationships and optimizing return on investment for clients. Prior to this role, Linda spent over two decades at the American Red Cross in various capacities, including Territory Service Delivery Manager and Regional PHSS Director, overseeing health and safety programs, staff supervision, marketing strategies, and customer relations. Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Psychology from Winthrop University.

The Great Books Foundation helps create a world of readers and thinkers of all ages. * We create reading and discussion programs for students and adults in the conviction that literacy and critical thinking help people of all ages become more knowledgeable, reflective, and engaged citizens. * We teach preK–12 students in Great Books programs how to think critically—sparking a passion for literature and ideas through the discussion of fiction, poetry, drama, and nonfiction. * We provide instruction for teachers, parents, and adult volunteers in Shared Inquiry™, a method of teaching and learning developed by Great Books that promotes close reading, careful questioning, active listening, and the respectful exchange of ideas. * We create partnerships with educational and community organizations to advance reading and discussion as a means for exploring shared concerns and common ground.
