John Leggett

Director Of Technology at Great Canadian Entertainment

John Leggett has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. John started their career at Canadian Pacific Railway as a Software Developer and progressed to become a Development Manager. John then worked at the Toronto Stock Exchange as the Director of Torex Program Development, where they managed the replacement of the equity trading system. John later joined OLG as a Senior Project Consultant and then as a Product Manager/Service Delivery Manager, where they played a key role in the implementation of OLG's Modernization initiative. Following that, they worked at IMAX as the Director of Global IS Infrastructure, responsible for the worldwide IS infrastructure. More recently, John took on the role of CIO/Technology Lead at Willowdale Group, where they developed and operated a new web platform for gaming. John is currently the Director of Technology at the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, leading the IT Operations team and implementing new technology solutions in the gaming industry.

John Leggett has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Wilfrid Laurier University. John also obtained certifications in ITIL 4 Foundations and COBIT 5 Foundations from Global Knowledge in 2019. In 2010, they received training in ITIL V3 Service Offerings and Agreements from Pink Elephant. Additionally, they earned a PMP certification from PMI between 2003 and 2011.
