Bernard D. has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and telecommunications. Bernard started their career in 2004 as a Sales Engineer at USLEC, where they provided technical support to the sales force and developed telecommunications solutions for customers. In 2007, they joined Birch Communications as a Network Technician, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing network central office equipment. Bernard also managed network CPE inventory and trained technicians on equipment installation and programming. In 2017, Bernard joined Great HealthWorks as a Service Desk Manager, overseeing ticket resolution and maintaining operational stability. Bernard was later promoted to Senior Service Desk Manager, where they provided vision and leadership to a team of technology professionals. Currently, Bernard serves as the Director of Information Technology Technical Services at Great HealthWorks, directing a staff responsible for 24/7 IT services and support, managing software/hardware purchases and vendor relations, and coordinating IT departments with the business.
Bernard D. earned an Associate's degree in electronics from DeVry University, where they attended from 1991 to 1994. Later on, they pursued their passion for photography and obtained another Associates degree from The Art Institutes, specializing in photography, from 2011 to 2015.
