Taylor Winfield

Taylor Winfield currently serves as a Policy Fellow at Teach Plus and is a founding advisor for the Student Government Association at Great Lakes Academy Charter School. As an 8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher, Taylor focuses on preparing students for high school through a tailored curriculum that aligns with common core standards. Previous experience includes a role as a Sales Estimator at Menards, where Taylor achieved significant sales results and fostered client relationships. Taylor has also held positions such as University Advisory Council Member and Diversifying Higher Education Faculty Fellow, contributing to shared governance and diversity efforts in higher education. Taylor holds a Master's degree in Political Science and is pursuing a PhD in Education Leadership & Policy Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago.
