Angelia Williams

Senior Vice President at GREAT LAKES BAY HEALTH CENTERS

Angelia graduated from Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and received her certification as an adult nurse practitioner and Master’s degree in nursing from Florida International University, Miami, Florida. She spent 10 years as the Program Coordinator and Nurse Practitioner for two school-based health centers in Miami, Florida. Angelia started with GLBHC in 2012, providing administrative oversight of all HIV Prevention and Medical Services, as well as the day-to-day operations of the school-based health centers.

Angelia has been dedicated to the field of health care for more than 41 years and has received numerous leadership awards throughout her nursing career. She is committed to serving the community and particularly has demonstrated compassion for those who are underserved and sometimes neglected by the health care system and have no voice. She is a member of the NAACP, the National Black Nurses Association and the National School-Based Health Alliance. Angelia’s passion is to inspire others, especially youth, to become future leaders.
