Peter Bulut

Peter Bulut is the owner and president of Great Lakes Brewery, a successful Toronto-based brewery. Prior to this, Peter worked as a customer service representative in the billing department at Alectra, a water meter exchange company. Peter was responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate completion of water meter exchanges, working cooperatively with the customer service team to meet deadlines, and providing support on clerical rotational tasks. Peter also ensured that health and safety requirements were being met by supporting and participating in periodic health and safety meetings.

Before working at Alectra, Peter was the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Rush Chair and Founding Father at Kappa Sigma Fraternity. In this role, they were responsible for informing others about the fraternity, its morals, standards, the benefits of joining, as well as the way the fraternity contributes to its surrounding community. This involved managing recruits and walking them through the process of applying.

Prior to their work with Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Peter worked at No Frills as a maintenance specialist and inventory/fulfillment associate. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining the store, stocking shelves, and helping customers find what they need.

Peter has always had a passion for beer and brewing. Peter started homebrewing while working at No Frills and continued to perfect their craft while working at Great Lakes Brewery. When the opportunity arose to purchase the brewery, they jumped at the chance and has been successfully running it ever since.

Peter Bulut graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce and a minor in entrepreneurship. Peter then attended Bishop Allen Academy.
