Matthew Wilkinson has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Matthew started their career in 1998 as a Systems Administrator at Avery Dennison and later worked as a Network Engineer at Datafix in 1999. At Avery Dennison, they held various roles including Network and Communications Manager, Senior Project Leader, Manager of European Data Center, and ERP Leader. Matthew also worked at Standards Australia, where they were a Member of the Informative Guidance group for the development of ISO 21500 Guide to Project Management. Currently, Matthew is working at Great Lakes Cheese as the Vice President, Technology (CIO/CTO) & Business Development. Previously, they served as the General Manager, IT (CIO); Strategic Projects; and Contract Management at Great Lakes Cheese and held the position of Director of IT, Contract Management, & Project Management. Their work experience includes managing strategic projects, leading IT initiatives, and driving business value through technology.
Matthew Wilkinson completed their education in a chronological sequence. Matthew attended King George V School from 1989 to 1991 and Prince Alfred College from 1992 to 1994 for their high school education. Starting in 1995, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University of South Australia and completed it in 1997. In 2003, Matthew enrolled at the University of South Australia again, this time completing a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Management Information Systems. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Accounting from the same university during the same time period. In 2007, Matthew obtained a Master's degree in Commercial Law from Deakin University. Matthew also obtained a certification in Project Management (PMP) from PMI in January 2007.
