Kala Mapes

Dr. Mapes was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan. She knew at a young age that she was going to be a dentist because of her passion for art, science, and oral health. Dr. Mapes loves that she is able to give back to others by helping to create a healthy and happy smile! She earned her bachelor’s degree from Albion College in Michigan and went on to obtain a master’s degree from Barry University in Hollywood, Florida. She was happy to return to her home state to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Mapes is very fond of the Charlotte community and has thoroughly enjoyed her patients there.
