Dr. Basem Al-Matar has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dr. Basem most recently worked as a Capital Project Engineer at Great Lakes Water Authority, where they provided project engineering and management support for water treatment plant projects. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Henry Ford College, where they delivered engaging lectures and communicated effectively with students. Dr. Basem Al-Matar holds a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, which they obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they completed their M.S in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2002. Their undergraduate degree, a B.S in Mechanical Engineering, was earned in 1997 from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
