Kassem Chokair has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Kassem currently works at Great Lakes Water Authority since 2022 as an Engineer, where they lead an Asset Tagging Project and utilizes NavVis VLX for taking pictures of different structures. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2022, Kassem worked at WARD(Water Resources and Development) as a Site Engineer. Here, they conducted site inspections, planned concrete works, and prepared payment certificates. From 2017 to 2018, Kassem served as a Project Engineer at The Specialists, where they promoted a safe working environment, reviewed site drawings, and carried out work in accordance with contract specifications. Kassem also gained internship experience at Engineering & Building Co. EBCO(BITAR) in 2016 as a site engineer intern, where they focused on coordination between different drawings, data collection, and problem-solving on site. In 2015, Kassem completed an internship at Khatib & Alami as a site engineer intern, where they assisted project managers, performed quantity take-offs, and presented project improvement solutions to management.
Kassem Chokair obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Beirut Arab University, which they attended from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their General Science education from lycee des arts between 2002 and 2012. Additionally, they have achieved several certifications including CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross in August 2022, ETABS basics and fundamentals from CSI in August 2016, A+ certification from Cisco in September 2012, and ICDL certification from ECDL / ICDL Certification in June 2012.
