Charissa Jones

Charissa Jones is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, and professional development facilitation across various educational settings. Currently serving as a Professional Development Program Assistant at Great Minds since March 2022, Charissa coordinates logistics for events in multiple states while ensuring exceptional client service. As an Effectiveness Manager at TNTP, Charissa supports thousands of educators and students, designing compelling professional learning sessions and managing curriculum assessments. Previous roles include impactful teaching, mentorship, and leadership positions in Atlanta Public Schools and Teach For America, where Charissa significantly contributed to improving educational outcomes and supporting new teachers. Charissa holds a Master of Arts in Education from Christian Brothers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Minnesota.
