Karen Waite CBN currently serves as the Bariatric Nurse Coordinator at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, a position held since October 2013. With a certification as a Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) from the ASMBS, Karen possesses specialized skills and knowledge essential for delivering quality care to morbidly obese and bariatric surgery patients. Prior to this role, Karen was the Workforce Development Manager at GPRMC from October 2011 to October 2013. Karen Waite completed a Master of Science in Nursing Administration at the University of Phoenix between 2014 and 2018, and obtained a degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, as well as attending Dakota Wesleyan University.
