Aaron Spivak

Aaron Spivak is a principal at Great Point Partners since July 2021, with previous experience as a senior analyst at JFL Capital Management LLC, a biotechnology-focused hedge fund, from April 2019 to June 2021. Prior to that, Aaron worked as an investment analyst at a long/short equity hedge fund from June 2015 to February 2019, where responsibilities included developing investment theses and conducting financial analyses in the healthcare sector. Aaron also served as a scientific investigator in quantitative sciences at GSK, focusing on computational biology methods for drug discovery. Aaron began their career as a postdoctoral fellow at Washington University School of Medicine. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a PhD in Computational and Systems Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College.
