Jim Jones

Jim Jones has over three decades of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Board Treasurer and Board Member at the Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System (M-RETS) since July 2021. Prior to this, Jim Jones held the position of Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Great River Energy since May 2003. Previous roles include Director of Applications at Midwest ISO from April 2000 to May 2003 and Manager of Applications at Mid-continent Area Power Pool from August 1988 to April 2000. Jim Jones holds an MBA in Business from the University of St. Thomas and a BA in Physics and Math from Hamline University.
