Marcus Green

Marcus Green is an experienced professional in environmental science and management, currently serving as a Transmission Permitting Specialist at Great River Energy since October 2025. Prior to this role, Marcus worked as a Managing Consultant and Scientist at ERM from July 2021 to October 2025, and previously held the position of Watershed Technician at the Rice Creek Watershed District from May 2019 to July 2021. Marcus gained foundational experience as a Water Resource Intern at the Rice Creek Watershed District and as a Field Service Intern at Lake Restoration, Inc. Additionally, work in research at the USDA-ARS Cereal Disease Laboratory at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities enhanced Marcus’s expertise in the field. Marcus obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management from the University of Minnesota in 2019.
