Scott Hughes

Scott Hughes has extensive experience in IT system engineering and infrastructure architecture, currently serving as Manager of IT System Engineering at Great River Energy since June 2001. Prior to this role, Scott contributed to the Utilities Technology Council from 2011 to June 2019 as a member of the Board of Directors, where Scott also chaired the Technical Division. Earlier in Scott's career, roles included System & Network Administrator at the Coordinated Science Lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2000 to December 2002 and System Administrator at Pentax Vision from 1997 to 2000. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, achieved between 1999 and 2002.
