William Gallagher

William Gallagher has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Portfolio Project Manager at Great River Energy since January 2008, William oversees electricity provision to over 1.7 million people through various distribution cooperatives. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Bixby Energy Systems, where focus was on renewable energy and biomass stove manufacturing, and Mechanical Engineer positions at Deltak LLC and Black & Veatch, specializing in thermal design and coal plant system design, respectively. Additional experience includes a Mechanical Engineer role at the Joint Warfare Analysis Center, where William worked on large-scale systems analysis. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
