Fran Strauss has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Fran started their career at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a Nurse Manager in the Perioperative Services department in 1997. Fran worked in this role until 2008, when they became the Director of Nursing for Perioperative Services at South Nassau Communities Hospital. In 2012, they joined Great River Medical Center as the Director of Surgical Services, a position they currently hold.
Fran Strauss completed an MBA in business and health care administration from Wilmington University from 2006 to 2008. Fran then pursued an MSN with a focus on leadership and management from Walden University from 2011 to 2013. In addition, they obtained certifications in NE-BC from ANCC in March 2011 and CNOR from AORN in July 2010.
