John Leiby

South East Iowa Regional Medical Center’s Director Of Behavioral Health at Great River Health

John Leiby has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, starting in 2006 as an 81mm Mortar section leader in the United States Marine Corps. After leaving the military in 2014, they worked as an Emergency Room RN at Sharon Regional Health System until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Charge Nurse at Saint Joseph's Medical Center/St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester Division. In 2018, John joined UF Health Jacksonville, where they held various positions including Charge Nurse, Manager, Assistant Nurse, and Manager of Nursing Operations. Most recently, in 2023, they began working at Great River Health as the South East Iowa Regional Medical Center's Director of Behavioral Health.

John Leiby is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management at Western Governors University. From 2012 to 2015, they attended SUNY Westchester Community College, where they studied Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.
