Stephen Shelton

Stephen joined Great Rock in 2022 and is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and building relationships across the New York Metro area.

Stephen brings over 30 years of experience in middle-market lending. For much of his career, he held senior origination and portfolio management positions with commercial lenders including PNC Business Credit, UMB Bank, BBVA Compass, and Bank of America. Most recently, as a Managing Director at B. Riley Advisory Services, Stephen was responsible for business development across the New York Metro and Mid-Atlantic regions.

He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Baylor University and is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association, Secured Finance Network, and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Stephen currently resides in Westport, CT with his wife. While his three children were raised in Connecticut, he is proud to be a Texas-born Yankee.
