Richard Marshall

Richard Marshall is a seasoned finance professional and co-founder of Great Yellow, where Richard serves as Chief Financial Officer since August 2023. Great Yellow focuses on enhancing nature improvement projects to drive economic value in ecosystem protection and is named after the Great Yellow bumblebee. Previously, Richard held various leadership roles including Interim Chief Financial Officer at The Woodland Trust and Transformation Programme Director at Grosvenor Group, along with several positions within EDF Energy, Forensic Science Service, and Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI). Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, a course in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, an executive development programme at IMD, and CIMA certification.
