Katy Whitehead

Katy Whitehead has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Katy currently holds the position of Vice President, Financial Analyst at GreatBanc Trust Company. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Valuation Analyst at Atlantic Management Company, where they provided valuation services to closely held businesses. Katy'sskills in this role included employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), gift and estate valuations, merger and acquisition analysis, litigation support, and transaction support. Before Atlantic Management Company, Katy served as a Senior Manager at BerryDunn, where they performed valuation research and analysis for both public and private assets. Katy also gathered business data and conducted benchmark analysis for clients. Prior to all of this, they worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at Honeck OToole CPAs, preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research and planning, and preparing documents for submission to taxing authorities. Katy began their career as an Auditor at Macpage, where they assisted in coordinating engagement planning and reviewed work papers for compliance with professional standards. With their background in finance, accounting, and valuation, Katy brings a wealth of experience to their current role.

Katy Whitehead, ASA, CVA, CEPA, MBA, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business. Katy furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from the University of San Francisco School of Management. In addition to their degrees, they have earned the title of Accredited Member (AM) from the American Society of Appraisers. Katy has also pursued certifications as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) from the Exit Planning Institute and as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).
