Carol Silas Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Carol started their career as a Training Manager at Neptune Technology Group, where they led and managed training and development initiatives. Carol then transitioned to the role of Training and Organizational Development Advisor at Jefferson County Commission, providing guidance on talent management processes. Carol later worked as a Talent Management Consultant at Americold Logistics, LLC., where they enhanced the performance management process and developed an onboarding model for field hourly employees. Carol also served as the VP of Membership and Director of Organizational Membership at Greater Atlanta ATD, focusing on increasing membership and employee engagement initiatives. Currently, they work as a Field Supervisor at the U.S. Census Bureau, managing a remote field staff responsible for data collection. Carol holds an MBA degree.

Carol Silas Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Mississippi State University - College of Business and Industry. Carol completed this degree between 2009 and 2011.
