Peter Blake

Peter Blake is an experienced transport director currently serving as the Transport Director for Greater Cambridge Partnership since January 2018. In this role, Peter Blake oversees the development and implementation of a £1bn infrastructure programme aimed at supporting economic growth and addressing local environmental challenges. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Service Operations at Transport for London, where oversight was given to a £600m operational portfolio, and as Service Director for Highways, Transport & Countryside at Worcestershire County Council, focusing on the transformation of service provision. Additional roles include Deputy to the Director at South Gloucestershire Council, where Peter Blake led the highways and transportation agenda, and Group Manager for Transport & Engineering at Telford & Wrekin Council. Peter Blake holds a Master of Science in Regional Planning from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Lancaster University.
