Joy Patterson

Joy Patterson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joy began their career as a Legal Secretary at The Hanover Insurance Group in 2001 and worked in that role until 2003. Joy then worked as a Non-Certified Substitute at Groveport Madison Local School District from 2004 to 2006. From 2007 to 2010, Joy worked as a Care Giver at Home Watch Care Givers, and then transitioned to Home Health Aide at Home Helpers, Inc. from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, they became a Family Support Specialist at Envision, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Contract Worker at Aerotek in 2015, handling licensing and contract information. In 2014, Joy worked as an Intern Administrative Assistant at Clermont County Humane Society. Joy then worked as a Contract Web Specialist at Insight Global in 2015 and a Security Guard at 1st Choice Security from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Joy is a Program Support Specialist at Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services, a position they have held since 2017.

Joy Patterson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Administration from the University of Cincinnati in the year 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Columbus State Community College, graduating in 1999. In addition to their degrees, they also hold a certification in CPR/AED/First Aid, which they obtained from the American Red Cross in October 2021.
