Laura Potter-Sadowski has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Laura is currently the Director of ReStores at Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, where they apply retail strategy to improve retail marketing, merchandising, and team building across three retail locations. Previously, they served as the Associate Director of ReStores at the same organization. Before that, Laura was the President of LPS Enterprise Empowerment and held the position of Manager/Director at One World Shop CLE, where they focused on marketing, branding, and management. Laura also served as the Executive Director at Ten Thousand Villages Cleveland, overseeing financial decisions, store operations, staff management, and fundraising. Laura Potter-Sadowski holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration from John Carroll University, which they earned from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing at Kent State University from 2006 to 2009. Laura then pursued a Graduate Certificate in Socially Responsible and Sustainable Apparel Business at the University of Delaware from 2009 to 2010.

Our Mission: Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity (GCHFH) develops opportunities for all of God's people to act out their faith. By working in partnerships to eliminate substandard housing, we enable families and volunteers to improve lives. GCHFH is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) nonprofit charitable organization that offers qualified families, with demonstrated need, willingness to partner, and the ability to pay a zero-interest loan, an opportunity to build and buy a home. We bring urban and suburban communities together to “eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action”. As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, we are part of a worldwide powerhouse building in 3,000 locations across 100 countries. GCHFH ReStore The ReStore, operated by Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, is one of the largest reuse and recycle centers in Cuyahoga County. The ReStore recycles and resells salvaged and reclaimed building materials, fixtures, tools, home improvement items, furniture, light fixtures, cabinets, household accessories, and much more and sells them at a fraction of retail cost. Proceeds from the ReStore support Habitat's mission to eliminate poverty housing through home construction and rehabilitation.
