Emily McGowan

Emily McGowan is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in marketing, communication, and customer service. Currently serving as the Marketing and Communication Director at Greater Colorado Council, BSA since November 2022, Emily previously held the role of Development and Communications Coordinator within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions such as Sales and Marketing Representative at Kelpful and a Summer Intern at Truewerk, where responsibilities included vendor guideline publication and customer relations. Additional experience encompasses various service roles, including serving at Shoreline Beach Cafe and employment at Whole Sol Blend Bar. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Global Studies and Communication from UC Santa Barbara, complemented by earlier experiences such as lifeguarding and babysitting.
