Emily Parker

Emily Parker is an experienced professional in donor relations and event management, currently serving as the Donor Relations and Events Manager at Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity since July 2021. Previous roles include Data Administrator at Nebraska No Kill Canine Rescue, where Emily transformed historical records into secure digital formats, and Community Outreach Coordinator at Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Iowa, where strategic partnerships and fundraising efforts were developed. Emily’s earlier work includes administrative support for various nonprofits, including the Iowa Youth Writing Project and the initial stages of volunteer engagement at Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Iowa.
