Joseph Carruth

Joseph Carruth has extensive experience in educational administration, currently serving as the Principal of Oakcrest High School in the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District since January 2015. Previously, Joseph held various leadership roles, including Principal of the Office of Safety & Security at Camden City School District, where responsibilities involved collaborating with central administration and state officials on safety initiatives. Joseph also served as High School Principal in Camden City and as Assistant High School Principal in both Black Horse Pike Regional School District and Palmyra School District. Joseph began a career in education as a Classroom Teacher in Camden City, enhancing instructional practices before transitioning to administration. Joseph holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Rutgers University.
